I love smoothies because you can pack a ton of nutrients from cleansing greens, immune-boosting berries, vitamin-packed fruits & a variety of superfoods all into one meal! I named this the SMOOTHie because I incorporated the 2 ingredients that always give me that smooth, milkshake type of texture: avocado and frozen mango chunks. It was so creamy, fruity and refreshing on a hot summer day.
Ingredients:
2 handfuls of spinach, 10 frozen mango chunks, 1/2c. fresh or frozen blueberries, 1/2 avocado, 1Tbsp chia seeds, 1/2-1c. water. [I also added 2tsp. maca root powder!]
Blend on Nutribullet or blender until smooth. Serves 2.
